    Hi there,

    Everything was working great with the latest version of FTS until this morning. Now the Facebook feed doesn’t seem to be working. I didn’t change anything on my end. Did FB change something with their API this morning?

    The message I’m getting is “No Posts Found. Are you sure this is a Facebook Page ID and not a Facebook Group or Event ID?”

    The shortcode is “[fts facebook id=FaithNoMore posts_displayed=page_only posts=5 title=no description=no words=45 type=page loadmore=button]”

    Do you know why might have happened? I was just about to send the site over to the client for review and I’d like to see if we can get this issue fixed before I do that.

    Thanks!

    Do you have your own custom APP token on the Facebook Options page?

    Strange just tested and it works on our test site. Wanna send me login info and I’ll take a look.

    Might be worth trying to empty the cache too if you made any recent changes to fts.

    Clearing the FTS Feeds cache didn’t help. Just to confirm versions, I’m using FTS 1.7.8 and FTS Premium 1.4.7. Those are the latest, right?

    Here’s what’s being loaded when I do the initial page load. I don’t see any XHR traffic trying to connect to Facebook.

    I can’t debug anything with that. Try adding another name in place like gopro and see if it works.

    Also if you can include the system report that would be helpful.

    Changing the id didn’t help. Here’s the system report:

    Try turning off supper cache that has to be the problem. It is caching in the error. You need to make FTS an exception to not cache from the WP super cache because we are already caching the info with our plugin.

    That plugin is disabled. Since I’ve been doing active development, I’ve left it disabled. I have not activated/installed/changed anything since yesterday when this was all working fine.

    I was just doing more digging and I noticed that the /feeds/facebook/js/ajax.js file that is being referenced is empty. It only has a single line comment.

    // JavaScript Document

    I guess that’s okay, because I was just able to verify that everything is working fine on my local dev build of the site. It’s only my remotely hosted site that is having this issue. I guess I’ll keep digging to try to figure out what could have changed.

    I haven’t found the problem, but I did look at the .cache files on my remote site and the content does appear to be an error on Facebook’s side.

          <h1 id="sorry">Sorry, something went wrong.</h1>
          <p id="promise">
            We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can.
          </p>

    Strange that it still works on my local dev environment.

    Yeah ajax file being empty is ok. Very strange error indeed.

    Is your localhost your computer or another testing server?

    It still could have something to do with the cache plugin even if disabled…first usually you need to empty the cache on it before disabling or removing… did your local server ever have that plugin running? Everything is up and running ok on our test server so that leads me to believe it’s a plugin conflict of some sort.
