Step 1: Creating an Account Page + WooCommerce

The first step to setting up the Clients Manager extension is to set up a page for the clients to be able to see their Galleries and Albums. You can create a My Galleries page or whatever you want to call it and add a shortcode so your users can view their Galleries/Albums.

If you are using WooCommerce you can check a settings option under our plugin to show the Galleries/Albums under the WooCommerce My Account page. Below are the 2 options: Create a Page & Using the WooCommerce “My Account” page.

Create a Page

First, add a new Page and name it whatever you want. We named ours My Galleries for this example. Now place the our shortcode [ftg_client_galleries] in a shortcode block or text block and publish the page. If you are using the Classic editor still you can add the shortcode to the Text tab of the editor.

How to create the My Galleries page

Now go to the Settings > Extensions > Clients Manager > Clients Galleries Page of our plugin and select the page you created. Below you will see we have our “My Galleries” page  selected. That’s it, you’re done.

How to choose the My Galleries page

Here is an example of the information that is output when using the shortcode on a page. This is great if you are not using WooCommerce or even if your are and still want another place for your clients to view Galleries/Albums they have access too. Keep in mind we are just using a basic theme for this example.

Example of the Shortcode output

If you are NOT logged in or are NOT a user of at least one gallery or album you will see the message telling you to please login. When you click the link it will take you to the default WordPress login page of your website.

Please login to view Galleries message

Using the WooCommerce “My Account” page

If you want to add the Galleries/Albums list for a client to the WooCommerce “My Account” page you need to check the box under FT Gallery tab > Settings > Extensions > Clients Manager > WooCommerce My Account

WooCommerce My Account page option

Here is an example of the front end for the My Account page that is supplied by WooCommerce. Notice how we have added a Galleries tab which contains the “Your Galleries” and “Your Albums” headers with links below them.
